Green checks mean that particular item is properly configured. No updates or changes are needed.
Red x’s mean an item is missing or is incorrect item. These issues may need to be fixed.
Example: if you are using Safari as your browser, the system check will show a red x next to the icon and in the box below will explain that you are using an unsupported browser.
What is important is that you read the information in the Potential Issue Box, the box below the system check. It explains what is missing and how to fix it.
However, in some cases it will indicate something is missing that isn’t. A common example is if you are a MAC user and it shows Windows Media Player as missing.
In this case, the information next to “Windows Media Player not detected” states, “If you have a different media player installed please disregard this message.”
MAC users can ignore this message because that other media player is iTunes.
It is very important to check the Potential Issue box as the Red X may not need to be fixed.
