An organized and consistent navigation schema is used to optimize the student experience and keep the focus on the course content. The types of activities may vary from course to course but you are likely to see a combination of discussion forums, written or video assignments, and collaborative projects.</textformat></html><html><textformat leading='1' tabstops='[48, 96]' leftmargin='0' indent='0'>Each week is made up of three areas: Weekly Overview, Resources, and Activities.</textformat></html><html><textformat leading='1' tabstops='[48, 96]' leftmargin='0' indent='0'>Below the weekly overview, the week’s resources are listed. The list is divided up by required and supplemental resources. Any items that are available electronically have a direct link to the resource. Resources tend to include text book readings, journal articles, newspaper articles, podcasts, and videos.</textformat></html><html><textformat leading='1' tabstops='[48, 96]' leftmargin='0' indent='0'>Every course will have at least three forums at the top to keep students informed and help them connect with one another. The News Forum is used for the faculty instructor to post course wide announcements. The Introductions and Social Forum is a space where students and the faculty instructor post introductions and exchange information on topics of interest that are not necessarily related to the course content. The Course Q & A Forum is a space where students post any questions they have about the course and the faculty instructor, or other students, can post responses. This is a great way to get clarification on assignments or other course features. </textformat></html><html><textformat leading='1' tabstops='[48, 96]' leftmargin='0' indent='0'>The weekly overview is your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about each week of a course.
